From Monday 12th August until Sunday 1st September, swimming across all Volair clubs will be free to children aged under 16 during public swimming times, thanks to Knowsley Council.
As the summer heat reaches its peak, there’s no better way to cool off and have fun than diving into a refreshing pool. This August, Volair clubs across Knowsley are thrilled to offer free junior swimming sessions for all children aged under 16. Whether your child is a budding swimmer or just looking to enjoy some splash time, this is a fantastic opportunity to make the most of the summer holidays!
The free swimming sessions have been funded by Knowsley Council’s Public Health team to encourage more children to swim as part of a healthy and active lifestyle.

Pool Safety Rules
It’s important to remember that whilst children under the age of 16 will swim for free, all children under 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Adult swimming costs £5.80 per session.
Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult on a ratio of no more than 1 adult to 2 children.
Please view our swimming pool admissions policies ahead of visiting.
We anticipate our pools may be busy during peak times, there may be sessions in place to ensure our pools do not become overcrowded. During these periods there will be a queuing system in place.
