Re-opening Update

The Government has announced that fitness clubs, leisure centres and gyms will be able to reopen from 25 July 2020.

We will now review the guidance documents for reopening and liaise with the Local Authority and Director of Public Health to determine when it is safe for Volair facilities to reopen.

We can’t wait to welcome you back and will update members of our plans shortly.

The health & safety of our team and members remains our top priority.

We are pleased to have now finalised many safety measures and are confident that all of our clubs are now ready to re-open safely as soon as we are allowed to do so.  When you come back you’ll notice that things might look a little different, but we promise that you will still get everything you need to enjoy your visit.

• We have spaced out equipment in the fitness suite to maintain social distancing
• Installed cleaning stations throughout the fitness suite and studios, here you will find spray and blue roll to wipe down equipment before and after use
• Made hand sanitiser available throughout our clubs for members to use
• Developed new cleaning schedules with a particular focus on those high contact points
• Before reopening we will launch a brand new booking portal for members to book group fitness classes online
• Developed new group fitness timetables to allow for social distancing.  This will be a reopening timetable and will develop over time
• Social distancing floor markings and signage will help members to follow the guidelines and remind members of the steps we are taking to make reopening possible

As a reminder we have frozen all membership fees for the entirety of the closure, no payments will be collected until we reopen.  The majority of our team members are currently furloughed and not currently working, therefore we are unable to answer membership queries at this point.
