Volair is responsible for the management and delivery of Knowsley’s leisure services. Volair is a council-owned and controlled organisation that has been established specifically to maintain leisure services across Knowsley.
No. You can register when you attend for the first time. Registration is free and can be completed online in advance, making your visit quicker and easier.
You can register online through the Volair website or Volair App. Registration only takes a few minutes and allows you to book activities and access our clubs.
All Voalair clubs offer free on-site.
Yes. Lockers are available at all Volair centres. You may need to bring a padlock or a small coin, depending on the club.
You can join online, through the Volair App or in person at one of our clubs. Choose a membership that suits your lifestyle, or pay as you go for selected activities.
Most activities can be booked online or via the Volair App. Some sessions, such as facility hire or community venue bookings, must be arranged through our bookings team.
Yes. Bookings can be changed or cancelled in line with our booking terms. Please check the cancellation policy for your activity or speak to our team if you need support.
Gym sessions usually do not require booking, but booking may be required at peak times or during special sessions. Check your local centre for details.
Direct Debit payments are collected monthly on an agreed date. New memberships are collected on the 8th of each month, while swimming lesson payments are collected on the 25th. Some existing memberships may also continue to be collected on the 25th. Your collection date will be confirmed when you set up your membership.
If a Direct Debit payment fails and payment is not successful, your membership access may be temporarily paused until the account is brought up to date. You can call our membership team on 0151 443 2200 to bring your account up-to-date.
Yes. You can update your Direct Debit details by calling our membership team on 0151 443 2200.
Memberships paid by Direct Debit are subject to our cancellation terms, including a notice period as set out in your membership agreement. If you wish to cancel, you can submit a request by completing the “Thinking of Leaving Us” form on our website.
