Position: Casual Health & Fitness Coach

Location: Various Volair sites, Knowsley

Working Pattern: Various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Type: Casual (to work as and when required).

Salary: £ 13.63 per hour

An opportunity has arisen within Volair for Casual Health & Fitness Coaches to help support our Volair clubs across the Knowsley Borough. This is a great opportunity to work flexibly without the commitment of having permanent hours.

We are looking for passionate fitness coaches to cover a varying shift pattern, including evenings and weekends. We are looking for individuals who can work as part of a team of instructors supporting, motivating and ensuring the safety of customers and visitors who use the fitness suite and associated facilities.

You will support our members on their fitness journey, building rapport quickly to engage and educate them on the latest fitness trends, encouraging them to take part in gym floor classes & supporting them through their training.

Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, allowing you to deal with customers in a caring, friendly and professional manner. Ideally, you will have an enthusiasm for fitness, a passion for results and the drive to help people change their lives.

This role involves conducting inductions, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and prescribing safe and effective programmes for members and users. To provide a presence on the gym floor and be available at all times to assist customers with their exercise programmes and ensure that they are using the equipment correctly. To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, ideal candidates will have the ability to teach small-group classes.

Qualifications:

Requires a Level 2 Gym Instructor Certificate

Position Swim Teacher level 2

Location: Volair – Knowsley Leisure & Culture Park, Huyton, L36 6EG

Type: Perm

Hours: 34 hours per week (overtime available)

Shift: Shift Pattern

Salary: £14.07 per hour

The working Pattern will be across week days, evenings and weekends and will require an Enhanced DBS Check.

Volair is seeking dynamic and enthusiastic engaging and inspiring individual to join our highly successful swimming team, delivering Volair’s Swim Programme at Huyton Leisure Centre.

As a Volair Swimming Teacher, you must be passionate about helping people of all ages and abilities learn to swim. In this rewarding role, you’ll play a vital role in developing water safety skills and fostering a love of swimming in students of all ages and abilities.

Role

We need Swimming Teachers who will…

• Develop and deliver engaging swim lessons tailored to individual student needs and skill levels.
• Instruct proper swimming techniques, water safety procedures, and pool etiquette.
• Provide positive reinforcement and encouragement to help students build confidence and achieve their goals.
• Ensure a safe and fun learning environment for all swimmers.
• Maintain accurate attendance and progress records.
• Engage, coach, and inspire our members of all ages and abilities to achieve their swimming goals
• Be a positive role model with a fun, engaging approach to lessons.
• Be part of a motivated team fully embracing our company values and standards.
• Support the varied programme of activities and sessions.

Qualifications:

• Strong swimming ability and a proven understanding of proper swimming techniques.
• Minimum of [Required Swim Instruction Certification] (e.g., ASA Level 2 Swimming Teaching Certificate, STA Level 2 Certificate in Swimming Teaching).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patience skills.
• Ability to effectively engage and motivate students in a pool setting.
• Fun, energetic personality and a passion for swimming!
