We’re re-opening from Monday 12th April.

Our team have worked hard to make sure that we have hygienic and safe environments for you to enjoy.  You can find out what we are doing to keep members safe here and information relating to specific activities.

 

Here is how we are keeping our members safe!

  • Social distanced floor markings and signage
  • Limited the number of people accessing our clubs at any one time and initially only allowing current Volair members access
  • Hand sanitiser and cleaning stations have been installed throughout our clubs
  • All equipment has been repositioned or relocated to allow for social distancing
  • We have developed a rigorous cleaning schedule which includes deep cleaning between each pre booked session
  • Introduced a brand new booking portal making booking visits quick and simple
  • Temporarily closed some areas for your protection
  • Members must comply with NHS Track & Trace by recording their attendance at reception

Before You Visit

  • Pre book all activities online. Remember if you want to do multiple activities these must all be booked
  • Bring enough water for your workout. Water fountains will not be in use
  • Arrive in your ‘workout ready’ as changing room access will be limited (until 9:00am).  Swimmers will have access to changing rooms and showers.
  • Familiarise yourself with our COVID Code of Conduct
  • All members must wear a face covering in enclosed public areas when not engaging in sport or physical activity (Medical exceptions apply)

Advanced Booking

At the moment only existing Volair members will initially be able to access our clubs and online bookings.

This is to allow priority access to our members.

All visits must be pre booked online.  Members can book 2 days in advance with bookings available from 7am each day.

Fitness Suite

The fitness suite will fully reopen.

We have repositioned equipment to ensure social distancing measures can be followed.

Cleaning stations have been installed and we ask members to wipe down equipment before and after use.

Fitness sessions are 90 minutes.

Members can arrive anytime during their 90 minute session but must leave the fitness suite when their session time ends.

Lane Swimming

All our swimming pools will reopen swimming only.

Lane swimming must be pre booked online in advance.

Come ‘Beach Ready’ – arrive with your swim costume under your clothes.  This will limit the amount of time you spend in the changing rooms and give you more time to swim.

Lane swimming sessions are 60 minutes with an additional 15 minutes allocated for changing.

Members can arrive anytime during their swimming session but must complete their swim at the end of the 60 minutes.

Group Fitness Classes

As part of the Government’s roadmap for lifting lockdown restrictions, we are unable to deliver indoor group exercise classes until May 2021.  We will be offering a range of outdoor classes.

Racquet Sports

We are currently not able to offer badminton or squash.  We will reintroduce these activities in May 2021.

Swimming Lessons

Children’s swimming lessons return from week commencing Monday 12th April.  Lessons return on Week A.

Swimming Lesson Return Guidance 

Juniors Fitness

Junior Fitness (12-15 year olds) sessions will be returning for existing members.

These sessions will be Monday – Friday

3:00pm – 5:00pm

Weekend 11:00am – 12:30pm

All visits must be pre booked in advance.

Junior Swimming

Juniors members can access any lane swimming session.  This must be booked in advance.

Children under the age of 16 must be supervised at all times by only one parent/carer

Children Under the age of  16 to be competent swimmers

Football

3G football pitches are now available to hire for organised team sports.

There will be no pay & play sessions and all bookings will need to be made in advance of visiting!

Team training can resume in line with FA guidelines

 There are no pay & play sessions for juniors.

Memberships

Only our existing members will be able to access our clubs and book online.

Members will have their Direct Debit payments reinstated after re-opening.  Members wishing to keep their membership frozen must contact our customer care team to arrange.
