Prescot Gym & Soccer Centre to get investment in new 3G pitches.
Prescot Gym & Soccer Centre’s all weather football cages are set to be refurbished after we have successfully secured a funding grant from the Football Foundation. We will invest additional money to upgrade the current cages to new state of the art 3G surfaces.
The football pitch refurbishment, due to start on Monday 6 November 2023 is anticipated to take up to six weeks to complete. To allow the new pitches to be relayed as quickly and safely as possible the pitches will be closed for the duration of the works. We will confirm the exact reopening date as the work progresses.
As a result, all bookings will be suspended during this period. We do have some limited availability at other facilities should users wish to temporarily transfer their booking. These alternative facilities include Lord Derby Academy, St Edmund Arrowsmith or Volair Huyton.

We will honour all current bookings once the pitches reopen, any bookings paid in advance of 6th November will be credited.
